ISO 3166-2:DE

Los códigos ISO 3166-2:DE son la parte de los códigos ISO 3166-2 que se aplican a Alemania. Cubre los códigos de los 16 estados de Alemania (Länder).

La primera parte es el código ISO 3166-1 DE para designar a Alemania; la segunda parte es alfabética de dos caracteres.

Notas

Los códigos para Bremen y Hamburgo incorporan una "H" (por Hansestadt) como su primera letra. Los códigos para la Baja Sajonia (Niedersachsen) y Sajonia-Anhalt (Sachsen-Anhalt) evitan las combinaciones NS, más intuitiva pero históricamente empañada (por Nationalsozialismus) y SA (por Sturmabteilung).
