Gabriel Mato Adrover

Gabriel Mato Adrover: Gabriel Mato Adrover es un político español, nacido en Madrid el 29 de abril de 1961 y hermano de la también político Ana Mato. Fue presidente del Parlamento de Canarias hasta la disolución de la cámara con motivo de las elecciones autonómicas del 27 de mayo de 2007. Estudió derecho en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, opositando posteriormente al cuerpo de letrados del Cabildo de La Palma en 1985. Militante del Partido Popular, ha ejercido varios cargos políticos, habiendo sido concejal del ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de La Palma, Consejero de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación del Gobierno de Canarias, diputado nacional y diputado autonómico. Fue presidente del Partido Popular en La Palma (2001-2004) y actualmente eurodiputado por el Partido Popular.
